The location of the Legacy Ottoman is what clinched my decision to book, and it was the right one. It's very, very handy for both Sultanahment and Galata, plus the Bosphorus/Golden Horn is just outside the window. We found the staff to be, at all times, helpful and responsive and were kindly moved to another room due to a/c issues with our first room. Though this took a couple of requests, it was dealt with then efficiently and politely. The Legacy also has a hammam (extra charge), which we thought was amazing. Our first experience of a hammam and I rated it so highly I went back again! The pool was not usable during our stay, sadly, but looked very well maintained and inviting, as did the gym facilities too. The sauna and steam room (included) were also great, spotlessly clean and a great addition.

Just arrived we were greeted by a very kind staff: they helped us to park the car, we were accompanied to our room, the concierge, called Menti, gave us all the useful information for the hotel services and for visiting Istanbul at its best, providing us with his contact for any eventuality. the structure is charming, room are cozy and clean. among the services we used the spa where we were accompanied to every room and pampered with good tea; the fish-based dinner in the hotel restaurant is also excellent: the staff pays the utmost attention to every detail and you are followed in the choice of each dish. Fantastic location. We could not have asked for a better location. Very helpful staff. Room clean and very spacious. The size of the room was a major reason for the choice of hotel. The bathroom was excellent and immaculate. The bed was large and very comfortable with an excellent mattress rather than something that was sagging and past its prime. Also, the Legacy Ottoman provided very good value for money.

The rooms were good. The wifi didn't work in one of the rooms - we had two rooms. One of our toilets weren't cleaned properly. There was miscommunication about what items were free and we ended up paying quite a bit for items we were told were laid out on the table and there was no price list. The staff looked worn down and upset on Monday morning - this could be linked to the political situation but we expected better. The location was great.

The way you are greeted at the door, the way the concierge checm you in very smoothly , the porters which take the luggage and explain the room and hotel details. The sauna, pool and massage area were cute. The breakfast buffet was a big spread fit for a king. The mini bar and snacks they provided was great. It is perfect location to nearly every tourist location. The staff always had smiles and greeted you leaving and coming in. The hotels safety was great also as they have security for each entry and exit of the hotel The beds were bigger than expected, the rooms were cleaned every morning and you could sense the cleaniness happening. Its a 4th time stay for the legacy ottoman hotel and will always choose them whilst in istanbul.

i like the location is at the downtown area, close also to the boat trip harbor for bosphorus trip, close to spice market bazaar and not far from blue mosque and hagia sofia, the lobby of hotel is very nice
